I’m currently trying to adapt and fully utilize my tablet (galaxy tab 10.0). I admit that buying this tablet is a mistake. My budget this month has been miserable due I have  to pay my tuition fee . I suppose to buy this on June . Well, I overlooked the due date of my study fees (I thought the due date is on June, but it’s due on May). Anyway, here you are. Miserable financial crisis for May !! hahaha (Careful next time friends)

Anyway, I must admit that netbook is still usefull for a guy who used with keyboard instead of touch screen keyboard. Recently Google released their cloud storage with name Google drive. Giving Free 5gb drive is good enough for me. I’m synchronizing all frequently acessed file over my laptop, pc and mobile via this google drive.  Found something lacking which is I can’t create folder on google drive via my tablet (or perhaps i didn’t notice them)

This book title sound very controversial. Without reading through this book, people will assume this book is about anti- Islam and suggest it will be great if Islam never existed in this world.

However, once I read through this book, it’s suggest the opposite (I’ve just finished with few chapters). The writer was former vice-chair National Intelligence Councill. This book, is has nothing to do about religion comparison at all. However, it stressing about the relationship within the West and Middle East, and will it be different if Islam have never be the religion of most people of middle east.

For sure, as I expected it’s discussing about terrorism within the middle east country and how it’s related with West-Middle East relationship.

From my understanding, the writer seems very linean and  fair enough. It’s bring the message of peace and how to make harmony between West (especially) with the Middle East world.

PHPmailer is very useful script for that purpose. What you need is:

1.  Download PHP mailer and ensure your webhost provider allow you to send mail through a form (Some of them will not allow you due IP webhosters wan’t to protect their IP address “virginity”.
2. Modify your class.phpmailer.php and class.smtp.php file match your  mailserver connection information. Eg: smtp  server name, port (especially port. Most ISP will block port 25, so ask your webhoster on alternate port for this purpose. Normally it will be the same with the port that you connect for your mail service with them)
3. Modify your form to complete the required standard mail transaction. Eg: HELO, body, subject and etc.

Lastly, if you having difficulties, ask your webhoster for their advice. Their experts should be happy to assist you on this.

Anyways, long time haven’t blogging. My heart says “Write something…”. I wish to share my frequent tools use everyday for completing my task/job.

1. KeepasX

It’s a password management Software. Most of my password are complicated and seems be impossible for human to memorize it.

2.  Terminator

Sounds like a movie title huh? But it’s not. It’s a tools for splitting my terminal. So, I can ssh to multiple server in one windows.

3. Zim Desktop Wiki.

I Use this to take my notes, work log and command and etc.

Below example was run under testing environment, using my favourite Desktop Virtualization Software “Virtual Box”. OS: Windows Server 2008.

1). Point to start menu and look for “Windows Firewall with Advance Security”

2) . Select Inbound Rules from the Sub-Menu :

3) Select “Port” for the “Rule Type”. Proceed by clicking “Next”

4). Specify the port that you wanna enable. Then you are done.

1. Linux Malware Detect

I used this for quite sometimes. Especially, If a non-technical client request my help to overcome their problem when Google show warn when people visit their website. However, this tools is useful when you have full access to the Linux server as root. If you are subscribing to a VPS or dedicated server, you might do this by installing this tool through CLI.

2. Sucuri SiteCheck

This might be usefull sometimes. It crawl for your website files and suggest you location and files or code that might be injected to your website. The rest step is, hunting them as suggested by those tools.

It is Sunday, suddenly I feel sooo boring (even tough a lot of thing I can do eg: Sleep ). I would like to share how to check for possible vulnerabalities for your Joomla!! based website, using one of tools that listed in OWASP project. The project for this Joomla!! Scanner is funded by YGN Ethical Hacker Group, Myanmar

In this post, I use my backtrack Virtual Machine (You can just download and execute them but you need to have perl installed on your machine).

To scan, Issue following command inside the “joomscan” directory :

 [root@alifazman joomscan] perl joomscan.pl -u yourtarget.com

Then just wait and it will scan for possible vulnerabilities for your Joomla base site. Happy Scanning!!!. Time for Zohor prayer!!

The solution that I did to make the page view the Image correctly is not that tough (I accidentally play around and it seems fixed them). I just install drupal on my local machine and compared with the client drupal. Nothing much differences in term of “.htaccess” file, and so on. I don’t know, perhaps Allah has guided me to Change to “Private” Download Method and set it back to “Public“. But i wasn’t sure until now what triggered the issue. s
